Well done to you all!

Kandinsky inspired art

Over the last few weeks we have been building on our knowledge of primary snd secondary colours. We have all really enjoyed experimenting with mixing colours alongside creating tints.

We have put our knowledge of colour mixing into practise by creating our own versions of Wassily Kandinsky’s concentric circles.

Aren’t they great!

Our Value for Life… Compassion

Today the Open the Book volunteers visited us to give an assembly around our value for this half term, ‘compassion’. This was shown through the story of ‘The Kind Stranger’. We learnt about the importance of treating everyone with compassion and kindness.
Many thanks to the Open the Book team for another fabulous performance.

This week the handwriting award went to Nathan for continuing to use his best handwriting at all times and working hard to use capital letters correctly.

This week we have two stars of the week. Both Jaden and Jackson wowed me with their computing skills this week whilst creating slides giving people information about tigers.

Our housepoint champion was Diego.

Well done to you all!

Terrific Tiger Facts

Over the last few weeks we have been learning about non fiction texts and non chronological reports. We have learnt how to use non fiction books, what the features of them are, how to use them to find information and even how to write facts in our own words.

We have put all of this to the test by creating our very own non chronological reports about tigers. They have done an amazing job!
